Ello! My name's Allanah, but please just call me Lani.  I am a complicated person; i love to lay in bed until noon, talk to my cat, bake cakes [but not frost them], build things, and everything else in between. I feel that in another life i was royalty, for I have been used to being treated like a princess since birth. it's not only a horrible fault of mine, but it also leads to some of my greatest artwork. Speaking of which, a lot of my "artwork" is spread out amongst the greater Sacramento area, because i just.. give away pieces left and right. i cant help it! I think it's because i don't see what i create as art per se, but extensions of myself, that, in their own way, may possibly brighten someone's day. I'm 100% a beginner at all of this, and i only sketch/sculpt/take photos with the hopes of one day becoming good at what i like to do. Art is in my veins; I get my eye for art from both my parents; my father wrote a comic book as a child that won a prize, did many advanced classes that taught him anything and everything he would ever want to know, including art. Not to mention he often gives me ideas. My mother herself sketches; everything too, I might add. her art is much better than mine, but then again, she's been around to see more, and experience as much as well.I'm a free flowing spirit, and i wish i was around for the 60s. Even so, I've been told my soul is old and seems to be well beyond my years. ...but I'm just an immature kid, trying on her mom's shoes in my eyes; my time to shine is barely upon me. I'm going to stop rambling now, for I fear i no longer make much sense. if you want to know more, just ask.  |
